British Hairdressing Awards
Mark Leeson has won three awards at HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, securing the fiercely contended titles of Eastern Hairdresser of the Year 2020, Men’s Hairdresser of the Year 2020 and the salon group awarded into the British Hairdressing Hall of Fame in recognition of their winning the title of Artistic Team three times. To top this, Manager of Mansfield salon, Terri Kay – will next year make hairdressing history as she will be once again inducted into the prestigious Hall of Fame for three previous wins in three categories!
Stylists Lisa Graham and Joseph I’Anson from Mark Leeson, Mansfield fought off strong competition to be crowned Eastern Hairdresser of the Year and Andrea Giles from Mark Leeson, Chesterfield and Terri Kay from Mark Leeson, Mansfield stood out from a star-studded line up to gain the top spot in the Men’s Hairdresser of the Year category.
Plus, the icing on the cake was recognition for salon owners, Mark Leeson and Richard Darby, who were inducted in the British Hairdressing Hall of Fame for three previous wins in the British Hairdressing Awards Artistic Team of the Year category.
HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards celebrate went live and virtual on Monday 30th November – giving an opportunity to celebrate the success and talent. Finalists were each given ‘tickets’ for their very own virtual room where they could watch and celebrate with their teams, friends and family while the industry and clients could also show their support by tuning in to a live stream of the event which was hosted by television personality Rylan Clark-Neal.
