International acclaim
Huge news today! Mark has been named International Hairstylist of the Year at the Contessas, one of hairdressing’s most prestigious events.
Hosted by Salon Magazine and held annually in Toronto, Canada, the Contessas recognise the most talented individuals in the hairdressing and beauty industry.
After being shortlisted as a finalist earlier this year, Mark was required to submit a photographic collection showcasing his finest work. Competing against four other hairdressing icons, Mark was revealed at the winner at a black tie presentation on Sunday 10th November.
‘It’s an absolute honour to win such a prestigious award’ says Mark. ‘I’m privileged to be nominated amongst such remarkable talents, so to take the trophy is quite humbling. So much planning and effort goes into our collections so to have this acknowledged on an international level means a great deal, both to me personally and to our salon teams.’
